It’s hard to find women in high ranking positions at companies. Why is this? Due to it being male dominated, there has been little growth when it comes to women in charge. It is shown that if women were to hold higher positions the diversity would help companies outperform others due to fresh new ideas and perspectives.
Susan McGalla is beating the odds and is a very successful businesswoman. She has inspired countless women to pursue their dreams of becoming leaders and succeeding at it. Her father was a football coach and she grew up with two brothers. They did not treat her differently because she was a girl and that has served her well. She can work comfortably with both women and men, and that has made her immensely successful.
There are lot of programs and networks out there for women, but they are not addressing the root of the problem which is that women need to support each other. Especially women in high ranking positions need to sponsor and mentor others who are just getting started. There needs to be intensives for those trying to climb the latter and men also can benefit from supporting these women. As they say, businesses will outperform others with powerful women leaders on their side.
An American businesswoman and executive consultant, Susan McGalla is a inspiration and a leader. She was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio and received a Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing at Mount Union College. She has worked in high ranked positions at big companies including Wet Seal Inc. and American Eagle Outfitters.
She is the founder of P3 Executive Consulting and is the Vice President of Business Strategy and Creative Development for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Susan sits on the boards of Magee-Womens Hospital Research Institute and Foundation and HFF Inc. She is married to wealth manager Stephen McGalla.

Fabletics is an athletic apparel company that was created by Don Ressler. It did not take long for it to become a massive success. In fact, the company had a growth rate that was in triple digits in only its second year of existence. Techstyle is the parent company of Fabletics. Techstyle is now valued at more that $1 billion. One of the reasons that Fabletics was able to catch on and gain a massive following of women has been the involvement of actress Kate Hudson. Her fame and commitment to fitness has helped to make the Fabletics brand into something that is now very easy to recognize.
Don Ressler has made a great career for himself by launching successful startup companies that become very profitable in a short period of time. He has been one of the few people who has been able to do this consistently. It is very hard to get a tech startup off the ground because of all the competition that exists in the online business world on apparelnews.net. However, Don uses a strategy that allows him to successfully market his sites to his target audience. This makes it much more likely that the people will respond to his advertising and visit the site that he is trying to promote.
The tech startup business at https://centraljerseyworkingmoms.com/how-does-don-ressler-run-justfab-and-fabletics/ that helped to put Ressler’s name on the map was a cosmetics and skincare business called Dermstore. He got the idea for this site after he noticed that there were not many good places online for women to buy these types of products. He thought this was a perfect industry to get involved with because there was a severe lack of competition. Don Ressler always advises people to launch their startups in industries that do not have a massive amount of competition. He was able to secure the financial backing that he needed. Dermstore quickly took off and started to turn a profit for Ressler and all of his investors.

Ressler did not have any interest in starting another site that sold cosmetics or skincare products. First of all, he already did that. Secondly, he would be competing with himself. Therefore, he made the wise decision to go into the athletic apparel business. He did some research and found out that this industry had been experiencing tremendous growth over the past few years. Fabletics proved once and for all that Don Ressler knows what he is talking about.
It was clear from the start that Adam Goldenberg possessed that special something that destines certain people to achieve great success. Funding his very first venture, using money he received from his Bar Mitzvah, 13 year old Adam took a risk on himself and with that seed money he created an on-line bulletin board service, sending him on his way to becoming one of the great entrepreneurs of his time. That was in 1994.
Adam Goldenberg’s first encounter with success fed his entrepreneurial spirit and in just a few years his bulletin board service was transformed in to a much more lucrative gaming site which was quick to capture the attention of another entrepreneur, the internet savvy Bret Brewer. Shocked to learn he was dealing with such a young but very talented individual, Mr. Brewer purchased Adam’s gaming site and brought him along with the acquisition. By the age of 19 Adam Goldenberg was serving as the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Intermix, making him the youngest COO of a publicly traded company at the time.
At Intermix an unintentional partnership was formed between Adam Goldenberg and co-worker Don Ressler. There was a chemistry between these two great minds that later drove them away from the security of Intermix to co-found their own company. Brand Ideas was the name of their new venture together and due to the drive of two like-minded entrepreneurs, Brand Ideas was quick to find success. Eventually Brand Ideas evolved into a company now known as “Intelligent Beauty”.
Still guided by the same team of two entrepreneurs, Intelligent Beauty has been successful in inspiring a number of prosperous ventures but it was in 2010 that genius struck again with the creation of JustFab on Wikipedia. A subscription based ecommerce fashion retail site that was immensely successful and drew a great deal of attention from an array of investors eager to inject money into the company. As a subscription based retail site one of the measure of success is membership which topped 6 million in less than two years. “Be passionate about what you do, have a great product and, maybe most important, surround yourself with a phenomenal team” – These are the words of Adam Goldenberg and by not only believing in his words but actually living by them, they have guided him down a very rewarding and lucrative path.
