Lori Senecal graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a business major where she developed a keen enthusiasm for marketing. After graduation, she worked with an agency called Vickers & Benson, quickly landing large accounts such as Ford. Here she began to develop strategic advances for media planning.
She continued the account management at Interpublic Group’s McCann Erickson in Toronto. There she was encouraged to take on large goals such as the lead on the Coca-Cola account. When she moved to the New York office, she became a worldwide leader on large accounts, promoting a young adult marketing unit called TAG Ideation.
Lori Senecal became the Global Chief Executive Officer for the Crispin Porter and Bogusky advertising agency in March of 2015. The position encouraged her thought leadership within the industry where she oversaw expansion and advancement. She has also been a keen leader in implementing technology and innovation on a global scale.
When CP&B was struggling with communication across different regions, Ms. Senecal was able to turn things around. She understood the value of communication and the value of strategic roadmaps to make the company’s goals a reality. Prior to becoming the Global CEO of CP+B, Ms. Senecal was the CEO of the MDC Partners Network. She kept the position throughout her administration of CP&B leading the agency to double their gross revenue. She was given the freedom to advance her staff, bringing in new talent. In 2014, she was called a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age.
She has quickly gained a reputation of aiding agencies throughout critical transitions into modern globalization strategies. To do so, she encourages efficient business practices with an eye on the future, providing a key roadmap for evolving in the constantly changing market.
